Like Adam, Lilith is a Seed of Life, created by the First Ancestral Race billions of years ago. Thus, Lilith is actually a co-equal being to Adam. The other Angels are the progeny of Adam, but Lilith is the progenitor of the "Lilin": humans. Thus is is actually somewhat misleading that Lilith has been designated as the "Second Angel", and indeed strictly speaking, it would be proper to say that Lilith is not an "Angel". Lilith (Evangelion) is the mysterious giant kept in Central Dogma in Neon Genesis Evangelion. We use the tag lilith_(evangelion) to distinguish this being from lilith_(ayanami_rei), who is the Ayanami_Rei-looking Lilith who appears in End of Evangelion.
