Now Viewing: promareTag type: Copyright プロメア A mecha action anime film animated by Trigger_(company). It was released on May 24, 2019 in Japan. It is the fourth collaboration between director Imaishi_Hiroyuki and playwright/anime screenwriter Nakashima Kazuki and, like their previous work, is filled with over the top action and hot-blooded characters. Sawano Hiroyuki, who composed the soundtrack for their previous anime Kill la Kill, returns to compose the soundtrack. The characters were designed by Koyama_Shigeto. Many of the seiyuu who worked with Imaishi and Nakashima on Gurren lagann and Kill la Kill also return as supporting characters. It is set on an Earth that initially seems to be just like ours until one day, a large segment of the human population suddenly manifest power and control over fire, which seems to have been sparked under extreme stress. This sudden activation of their powers causes widespread destruction and death, starting a violent conflict that pits regular humans against the fire-powered ones, who are labeled Burnish and are treated with fear and derision by regular humans. A more militant group of Burnish forms, known as the Mad Burnish, protesting against the way Burnish are treated, and are willing to use force via starting fires to get their way. In response, Burning Rescue, a team of firefighters who use specialized mechs designed to counter the Burnish's abilities, is formed. Galo Thymos is the idealistic and hot-blooded newest recruit of Burning Rescue who believes wholeheartedly in the anti-Mad Burnish cause, but soon after a battle with the group's leaders, he learns that the nature of the human vs Burnish conflict is not quite what he had been led to believe. . . The film uses the most 3D animation out of all of Trigger's work to date, frequently switching between 2D and 3D animation with the latter often being used to create a dynamic moving camera effect. The film also casts actors who are known more for live action or stage acting as the story's central characters.
