She is a scientist who works for DOATEC though she does not seem to be as malevolent as other members of the corporation, and is also a luchadora which she showcases when she fights. When she is fighting, she usually hides her face with a mask though she is playable without a mask as well. Although she is an intelligent woman, she deliberately acts ditzier than she actually is in public appearances. Unlike fellow wrestler characters Tina and Bass, her fighting style is dance like, acrobatic, and unpredictable. Her moves are inspired by real life wrestler Nakamura Nobuyoshi. She originally appeared in the non fighting spinoff Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball and made her fighting debut in Dead or Alive 4 as La Mariposa, which translates to the Butterfly. Befitting her stage name, she has a butterfly motif in her wrestling outfits. She is often depicted wearing a sling bikini, which are usually her most revealing costumes. A cutscene in Dead or Alive Dimensions reveals her full name to be Lisa Hamilton so from now on, all images featuring Lisa should be tagged as lisa_hamilton. She is voiced by Sakamoto_Maaya.
