In a way, I can see this happening. From what I've seen, Kokonoe cares for Lambda and Tager more than she lets on. In fact, it's not really hard to see that she cares for them, especially from the true ending of CS. So it's not hard to imagine Kokonoe getting maternal over Lambda.
