It's obviously a short range tank/armored vehicle killer. Don't need a scope, just a laser targeting device.

This looks like a 20mm anti-tank rifle, which, with such a large bullet, would presumably have significant bullet-drop. A high-powered scope might even be detrimental, as you would have minimal peripheral vision within the effective range. This geek moment brought to you by insomnia.
