A shame this isn't possible in Monster Hunter games yet, it would be nice to have the issue of capturing and having the ability of choosing to either be supported by Felynes, or captured wyverns (at least the small ones!) Hope this becomes possible one day. There are hardly any up-to-date games which allow a hunter to work with a captured and well-raised monster in the party.

@Anon4: Hell fucking yes. Or they could allow most of the monsters and rebalance the monster/ nerf it. Then you could have your monster follow your target if it flies away, and keep it busy until you arrive.
