With Itachi's will, Sasuke now, so it seems, to have given up his quest for revenge against the Leaf. The 4 Hokages did a great job in changing Sasuke for the better. In Sasuke's mind, he thought the village was evil. By having Hashirama and the other Hokages clarify to Sasuke what Shinobi and the village truly is, he finally found his answer.
