that's why i like genderswaped touhou characters, their behavior is more fitting t o take the role of the guy.
for example here is male reimu coming face to face with sanae.

that's what will happen if reimu is guy instead of a girl
1) instead of rival shrine maidens fighting silly to the death, we got a shrine maiden falling in love with a handsome young monk or priest.
2) yukari and kanako are turning on each other for reimu and sanae not because they are fighting each other, but because yukari is jealous of sanae and kanako is concerned about sanae and her relationship with reimu.
