Can't they just kill off everyone from this series so we don't have to suffer with it any more?
It completely killed any respect the title 'ninja' possessed. I guess nothing is sacred.

^Yeah! Naruto completely killed the sacred title 'ninja' that was proudly upheld by many other great works of art like: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Surf Ninjas, 7 Lucky Ninja Kids, Beverly Hills Ninja, Dancing Ninja, etc.

^ Those where meant to be amusing (and even a little parody). They weren't supposed to be taken seriously to begin with.
Naruto was the deathblow to the genre by going too far with the stereotypes. You'll notice that only *after* Naruto contaminated the scene that the number of ninja themed works practically ground to a halt, because the series took all the fun out of the genre.
Out of all the people I know that like ninja stuff, only *ONE* of them has even remotely nice to say about the series, and even they've learned to shut up about it because no one wants to heard about it.

"deathblow to the genre"? Based on what? Ninja with super power was hardly unique to Naruto.

Naruto remains a popular series and ninja themed anime still comes out.
