And folks wanted these two to be together? Granted, Sasuke also treated her like crap, but yet again, her love for him from the start was based solely on looks. If Sasuke was average/ugly with a potbelly, she likely would not have given him a second look, guaranteed. She may have even thrashed him like she did Naruto lol

Frankly, It could be a cute and funny couple..
Not the most original, but I find It still efficient.

But for some reasons, nobody (even the author) looks to want to give Sakura a chance to shine or to redempt and we have this odd ending.

What a mess...

@Twix07 hell no. it would be a bigger mess if naruto ended up her. He would be abused constantly remain miserable most of the time. Rock Lee on the other hand wouldn't mind her abuses thus being more cute, funny and efficient couple. As far as shining goes she's had plenty. She had moments in both Sasori fight as well as against Kaguya so i wouldn't say the author didn't give her much.

Holding a character like Naruto sounds hardly being restful.

Plus, like I've said, if someone gives to Sakura a damn chance to be a better character (It was a good start in the beginning of Shippuden), she could be a nice woman.

Instead, we have this ending, this horrible soap-opera last movie and this "Is that really a Naruto story?" sequel...

At least Hinata and Naruto are happy together. Whereas Sasuke and Sakura seem, well, meh. That Gaiden chapter when Sasuke was(once again) taking off, said it all. She obviously wanted a parting hug n kiss, but he just turned his back on her and left, leaving her sad/dejected. the way she treated Naruto after all he did for her, yes, she deserves to be in such a seemingly stale relationship. lulz Sasuke with a potbelly..................
