I've actually been tagging stuff with "futa_on_futa" :D "futa_on_female" and "futa_on_male" where they just mean those two genders having sex. If people want they can do the "who's on who" specifics instead.

Also in profile options is where one can block a tag. I've had to do so with one myself.

One thing that make me rage is looking for yuri, yet I find DICKS EVERYWHERE. Sure, blacklisting the futanari tag will help a lot. But please remember that yuri is lesbianism between two NORMAL girls.

Anything involving mutant freak-show should be labeled anything but yuri.

I agree. When I search yuri, the last thing I want to see is a penis and it is really frustrating to have to wade through the futa's to find real yuri.

I think a 'futanari_yuri' tag would be fine. Although I think a 'futanarikko' tag would be equally, if not more, appropriate. As that is the accurate term for a female futa.

A futanari, in this case a hermaphrodite, is both genders, right? So they would have both genitalia. Since a guy already has a dick, a male hermaphrodite would be a masculine; basically a dude with a vagina.



The problem though would be "futa_on_male" which is probably NOT what they want. Currently I suggest the search "~futa_on_futa ~futa_on_female -futa_on_male" for that.

OK, since we have someone here who seems to know what we're talking about, let's get some answers. I don't even like futa, so it's not something I'm particularly interested in, but this is a sort of important question, I think.

We have the following possibilities (not counting the presence/absence of testicles):

1. penis + vagina + breasts = hermaphrodite. Impossible with higher animals, but this seems to be what I've seen presented as "futa" in hentai.

2. penis + vagina + no breasts = hermaphrodite, but not totally functional. Again, impossible with higher animals, but could this be a "male futa"?

3. penis + no vagina + breasts = shemale. Surgical alteration ... the classic "trap". This is NOT futa in my book. It's a boy with boobs and nothing more.

4. penis + no vagina + no breasts = male.

5. no penis + vagina + breasts = female.

6. no penis + vagina + no breasts = no idea what you would call this, assuming it's not a female with a double masectomy, although some furry artists depict non-mammalian females like this.

7. no penis + no vagina + breasts = well, it's just odd, is all.

8. no penis + no vagina + no breasts = for you people who really hate sex.

I think we can all pretty much agree with that list, right?

Now, here's my problem. hentaiprovisions states that "futanari" is a hermaphrodite, but makes a distinction between "male futa" and "female futa" and Teigue give us the term "futanarikko" as meaning "female futa". I don't see a difference between male and female futa, since they both have to have the same genitalia, unless the distinction is the presence or absence of breasts. With the breast fetish which the Japanese seem to have I'd be very surprised to find any hentai with futa who do not have breasts and who are not female in appearance except for the presence of a penis -- and, perhaps testicles, which seem to be a hit-or-miss thing with futa, and even those look female if you can't see below the waist.

So ... can someone point us to actual pictures showing the difference between "female futa" and "male futa", and is there a specific term for "male futa", like we seem to have for "female futa"?

Futa is futa. Yuri is yuri. Some people tag futa with yaoi. I remove yaoi and yuri tags from futa.

I think we got off topic. The main point of this is that some people want to set futanari sex is yuri because to them it's "2 girls having sex" when it isn't 2 girls. I think there was almost a unanimous agreement that Futanari sex is not Yuri.

And now we are looking for ways that those people can find the type of futanari hentai that is like yuri.

In response to the distinction between male and female, I was making the point of why they were labeling it as yuri, because a female futa having sex with either another female futa or a female appears to be yuri.



Be careful to make sure that there isn't yuri/yaoi also happening in the images. But you probably are.

Alrighty, then! We have yet another gender to add to the mix. Hentai has "cuntboys" (which is what hentaiprovisions refers to as "male futa". Not my thing, really, but somehow I don't find it as odd as futanarikko ("female futa").

No, I don't think we've really gotten off-topic, because this topic has been sort of about all the controversy around futa in general, and much of that controversy has, I think, stemmed from people not really understanding what "futa" is.

Frankly, complaining about people tagging futa wrong in this forum is probably a waste of effort. How many people actually use this forum, anyway? I don't have access to the logs, assuming the logs show who's been here, but the posters can be numbered on the fingers of two hands, I think. This is all the more a reason why I think that the definitions of every usable tag should be readily accessible to the users. In fact, were I writing this software myself (no, that's not an invitation to ask me to help -- I know enough about how to program this type of thing to get us all into serious trouble), I'd make it so that in order to tag anything you'd have to be logged into your account, and that the software would track every single tag you use. When you attempt to use one you haven't used, before, it would direct you to the definition of that tag, and you'd have to click a box stating that you read and understood it before that would be added to your list of allowed tags.

Sorry, but I've worked as a sysadmin on another board long enough to realize that human beings are inherently stupid creatures and most need to be led by the hand most of the time, and I've seen enough stupidity in the tagging, here, to realize that ignorance runs rampant here, too. Just do a search for "cameltoe", sometime, and see how many images have that tag but show an uncovered vulva. That's NOT a "cameltoe" -- it's a "pussy", or whatever we use to tag a vulva, here (frankly, I think it should default to "vulva", but that's just me). For that matter, I've seen some images tagged "vagina", here (most of them, in fact) in which no vagina is visible. Again, it's because the 12-year old virgins that spend their afternoons masturbating to this stuff have no earthly clue what a "vagina" is. It's all the more confusing because "pussy", which is the almost ubiquitous tag, has a double meaning, referring either to the vulva or the vagina, or both (and, in my perspective) is a useless tag because of that. That's like using "head" to refer to "eyes" in one image and to "mouth" in another, when you should be using "eyes" and "mouth" to refer to their proper, respective, parts.

Anyway, now I am off-topic, so I'll just shut up and go to the next topic. :)
