I've mostly been playing Call of Duty WWII, but have also been playing Halo MCC, and Dead Space. I mainly play video games to pass time, since I hardly feel excited or interested anymore. Dead Space is definitely one of the games that got me interested however, I should seriously finish it and play the others in the series.[

I played Dead Space a few years ago, with headphones at midnight. Sweet game. Dead Space 2 is also good, 3 ehhhhhhhmmm

Yeah, surprisingly spooked me a bit. Normally horror doesn't actually get my heart rate up or anything, yet I still enjoy it because the story can be interesting. If there was a VR version of Dead Space, I'd totally play it.

Agreed, I loved the first two Dead Space games. Although they weren't too scary by horror standards and relied heavily on (quite predictable and telegraphed) jump scares, the combat was extremely satisfying and the environments were great.

DS3 kind of dropped the ball. It still had the environments and enemies down pat, but the story was meh, there were too many QTEs, and the game was ludicrously easy for some reason. Seriously, even on "Impossible" you'll be discarding health packs and ammo 10 minutes into the game because you can't carry anymore, and that will continue until the very end of the game (this is particularly insulting for a "survival horror" game). I guess it's still a decent action game, it just doesn't live up to its predecessors.

I was about to drop 40 bucks on a nostalgia trip called Ninja gaiden master collection, but I'm reading up on it and apparently KT ported the vita version instead of the ps3 version, so the textures are the downgraded vita versions, and I'm also reading about an input lag which has me worried. So I really want these games on my pc but I'm not buying this crappy cash grab. Instead I'm installing rpcs3 and going to run sigma there.

Edit: Wow emulation has come along way. Playing NG sigma on my pc at 60 fps and it's running great. I thought we were still years away from ps3 emulation so this is a nice surprise.

I'm about halfway through Pokemon Shield + Expansion, and I loathe its linearity. Even worse is the game actually prevents you from exploring too much. That must be why everyone is so into ranked battle.

Want to play that one. Graphics look sweet eh?
Arc System Works have dominated the 3D Cell shaded anime style, it looks so pretty.

Just watched the trailer for Elden Ring and it's just another Dark Souls game with a different title. Pretty disappointing as I thought this was going to be something new and fresh but it's got the same slow combat that has grown stale for me and it looks just like a souls game, no different at all.
