The idea of Aerith or Jessie stealing miss popular’s boy is pretty amusing though. Can’t really blame her though. It’s not her fault she’s massively popular and gets treated like junk by most.

I like to think that Barret has an attachment more useful for everyday things when he’s not in combat or on a mission. Can’t be walking around with a gun 24-7, especially with Marlene around. Sort of like how Ash has a chainsaw and a fake or mechanical hand.
