@The_Ass_Taker let me quote what "banned artists" are on Danbooru:
"Banned" artists are artists who have issued copyright infringement, cease-and-desist orders, and/or take-down requests against all of their works posted in Danbooru.
Not sure if it's allowed to link things in comments, but You can go there through Gelbooru's tag's wiki explanation (click question mark next to the tag while searching for something), there's quite a big list of such artists. And even here the banned_artist tag have already almost 3000 results.
I am glad we can see these here on Gelbooru (at least for now), even though they are banned on Danbooru. So much of amazing stuff is lurking in it! (UwU)
