That team actually makes a lot of sense, considering that all three of those characters lost something because of Sephiroth (Cloud lost his best friend, home, and family. Tifa lost her home and family. Vincent lost the love of his life, though that was because of Hojo but Sephiroth was the result of it).

actually yuffie can compete with cloud in terms of damage. heck i use yuffie in all my boss fight because of her unholy damage! anyways my team in the final battle was CLOUD CID YUFFIE
in my opinion is the party who deals a huge physical damge

Yuffie can morph full damage...she's great if you want to upgrade stats if you fight monsters in the sunken ship to morph monsters
