Say what? Did you not read my my other responses? Of course I believe there are consequences to this.
Personally I just think talking about the president (and the former president) doing some Pizzagate shit and bombing thousands of children is going off the rails immediately. I don't even feel like commenting about it, whether or not how true it actually is (only the bombing part, because I think it's some Qanon bullshit to think Obama would be a sicko like that). All I know is it's definitely an insane way to pivot a conversation to a few posts in, lol.

Honestly worrying about that is a luxury problem, people already make a bunch of disinfo and fake content with ARMA 3, video editing, references to papers that have none of the info referenced, photoshops.
This is on a whole new scale though. It's not really a luxury problem when AI videos could possibly ruin real lives to the uninitiated. Again, I believe it's going to take a while before most people become in the loop for it. And let's not forget about foolish people who fall for things that AREN'T AI generated.
Think about how before AI voice acting became advanced. It was generally pretty easy to tell audio clips that were spliced or faked. Now we have highly realistic ransom calls that fool people, especially those who aren't on the internet often, and aren't in the loop.
For example, Kai Cenat had a streamer friend give away some valuable information because the streamer friend was tricked with an AI voice program. Imagine getting a call from a close friend who sounds just like your friend, only for you to tell some personal information that's to a stranger using that info for malice.
