The only exciting thing about pokemon is the porn and the fanarts, I can't even pretend to care about the anime

I've been watching/playing pokemon since gen 1/season 1. I outgrew the anime VERY quickly. It's very much a children's show. But my interest in the games is more than ever. I just pirate and mod them to deal with certain flaws inherent to being made for decade-old phone hardware. Ryujinx is based

It's not bad, there's still issues to be adressed.

I think you had to get into the games as a kid to be a huge Pokemon fan. I've played one of the games as an adult and it just didn't appeal to me. I never played them as a kid or watched the anime.

Oh, I did my friend, I can't recall how many hours I dedicated to Emerald and Leaf Green, how I managed to emulate Gold on an LG GM205, and really enjoyed BW to the end, but are they really exciting nowdays? Am I excited to replay them as an adult? Is there any reason to care about the new games which best thing to appeal to older fans they can try is nostalgia characters and competitive? No man, there was a time when I cared about Pokemon, but no more.

You know, I was never a competitive player. But I did back in the day love to 100% the Pokedex of games.

Then Sword and Shield happened, and broke that dream.

Which just led me to playing the Violet campaign the same way anyone plays Skyrim; Zero Fucks Given.

Seriously, I led the Violet waifu team of Meowscarada, Gardevoir, Frosslass, Salazzle, Goodra, and Vaporeon, all female. :P

Yes, I got most amusement out of this crap relying on goddamn memes. *sigh*

You know what's the funny thing about that? Paldea is based on Spain, do you know what Spain as a name means? Place of rabbits.

From all rabbit pokemon (Bunnelby, Azumarill(?), Bunneary, Cinderace, Wigglypuff, Whismur) not a single one is available in SV.
