Okay, let's say, in typical isekai fashion you have been living there for quite a while, you somehow got enough money to buy a slave and you have been asked a few times if you are going to buy one, for whatever reason, either to help you in guild missions if you decided to go the adventurer route, or just do house chores.
The questiuon is, would you do it, or not? If not, why? If yes, what would you buy and for what purpose?
So yeah, pretty much like Mushoku Tensei in a way.

One of the only ways to trust a slave is to have them set up to die if you do, so they can't just knife you in the middle of the night. But then that just means you can have a fate worse than death, since they can cut off your limbs and cut out your tongue while keeping you alive, barely, so that they can also live.

I never liked the casual slavery aspect of any isekai, so first thing I'd do is free the slaves. Freedom and consent are important.
Hopefully one of the inexplicably super sexy female slaves (or perhaps more than one, because harem) falls in love with me and stays with me as a romantic partner. But not as a slave, of course.

Probably die because I barely remember any of the survival shit I learned in boyscouts, and even if I did it'd probably be useless in whatever coked up JRPG setting I got dropped into anyway.

The Serious Answer:
Assuming this a Standard Isekai Fantasy World with game mechanics, adventuring quests, and demon lords, I would focus on leveling up leadership and management skills. Any budding hero can hit a goblin with a sword, but I'd rather clear out entire goblin villages with a warband of massed crossbows and pikes. Gotta think big. Once I've mustered (i.e. plundered) enough capital, I'd like to found a bank, now that I have credible force to make borrowers think twice about defaulting on their loans. I will offer credit and the services of my mercenary army to the king, thereby providing the king the financial and military muscle to smash the power of the aristocracy and monopolistic guilds. By centralizing power, the kingdom will have the resources necessary to fund a permanent standing army (formerly my mercenary army) and a corps of high-level champions, sponsor scientific and magical research, create a bureaucracy to more efficiently collect taxes, etc. And that's my plan to defeat the Demon Lord, because we can't rely on some destined "hero" to do the job every time. We need to undermine feudalism by creating a strong state and proto-capitalist productive forces that can outpace demonkind and ultimately crush it for good.
The Hentai Answer:
Same as above, but retire (relatively) young after the demon lord is defeated and enjoy to tend to my dairy farm/harem of bodacious cowgirls.
