Well, shows how much I know. Never really got into the series. I just remember a lot of people's animation complaints were about the early seasons.

Why are we still here? Just to suffer?
Memes aside I am actually pretty upset about this, literally only because I'm probably one of the few that actually enjoys the entirety of RWBY. Besides the Vic Mignogna (More because I'm a fan of his other works than anything) thing I literally could not give two shits about the other controversies that Rooster Teeth has gone through over the years. The show was just really good to me.
I haven't even watched RVB in like 10 years but RWBY is enjoyable to me enough that I have all of the seasons on BluRay and that now it will never seen an end unless someone like Crunchyroll buys the rights to it. Ice Queendom was ehhh but who knows what could happen.

I got into RVB (Red vs Blue) really Late. I got into it because of Monty's contributions.
Later I discovered the little animated shorts. Which were genuinely funny and kinda timeless. At least the ones I saw.
Sometime before dropping RWBY after season 5.(I stopped watching it seriously, after season 3. But I bought seasons on dvd til season 5.) I suddenly kept hearing RoosterTeeth in the news for controversiessuch as office crunch, Bumblebee and leaving YouTube. As far as I can see. When the founders left. So did the soul, heart, reasoning and logic.
Lastly as big fan of Monty's RWBY. I can't help but think how spoiled all the people who talked bad about the first 3 seasons animation. Yall literally couldn't do better. Also as a 80s baby who grew up on Reboot and Transformers:BeastWars. Y'all really don't know what you're talking about. The animation was Great. It was really good for the time. For the few people that were involved. For what was put out, with such limited experience. It was Impressive. YouTube itself wouldn't have been able to handle 1080 p Animation back then. We were all just starting to adapt to seeing shows and videos in 240, 480 resolution. The show didn't need to be 4k. It just needed a solid enough story. Decent voice acting and music. And bad ass fight scenes the likes which no one has seen, outside of a few live action movies and Anime.

Fuckin hell Code Lyoko was a weird ass show. I almost manage to forget about it most of the year then randomly the American OP will live rent free in my head for a day or so.
