Posted on: 09/22/11 08:49AM Someone should do a vector trace wiki entry since I have no idea what that is. I checked a day or two ago but there was no info.

More often than not the art featured on the covers of Newtype already exist but without the Newtype logo and other text. How are those even slightly similar? They're not in the same league. They're not even in the same series. Motivational posters are images that already exist in some form. They are perverted by text and often cropped. Magazine covers are images that already exist in some form. They are perverted by text slapped over the image and they are sometimes cropped. Only real difference is that one is more often than not done by a westerner while the other is done by the Japanese. So is the reason why we delete motivational posters because they are done by westerners? If so, then we are right back discussing "vector traces" again. Wrong Motivators are both image macros, and extremely unfunny attempts at being funny. These two are the exact reasons why motivators aren't allowed; in fact, one of them is specficially quoted in the Terms of Service. It doesn't really have anything to do with the image already existing in another form. We generally tend to keep all forms of an image that aren't exact duplicates (including resizing, jpeg artifacting, watermarks, and scanning differences of course). |

Someone should go to Danbooru first before asking people to make wikis. Jerl said: and extremely unfunny attempts at being funny. Generally, they're occasionally funny. But they're pretty much still worthless garbage. |

Posted on: 09/22/11 08:52PM Quick question, if someone removes the watermark from a paysite picture, should it still be deleted for being from a paysite?

serious Q.
Posted on: 09/22/11 09:19PM Hmm, The only complicated thing about rating a picture is that people have different thoughts on private parts, I think I said something similar to this a long time ago on this site somewhere.
What I get and feel from the rating chart: excluding scat and guro. Safe: No nudity, underwear is safe too unless the girl/woman is looking "naughty" which then leads to questionable. questionable: innocent nudity(?), thongs. see through underwear. explicit: sexual intercourse, cum, private parts being the main focus of a picture. "naughty" nudity That's how much thought I felt like putting in that post. |

The rest you've pretty much got right. |
