Danbooru works fine but gelbooru is running like a slug. I like gelbooru more though. What do?

It runs fine here, and the API responds nicely. Maybe it's a problem with your browser having too much cache for the site ?

But really, both sites are running pretty fast, on my end.

It slows to an unbearable speed between 10pm and 2am Central USA time. It looks like we may be getting a huge load of traffic from Asia/Europe at this time, or maybe some kind of attack.

At other times it works fine.

Just saying, but danbooru and gelbooru are no longer hosted together, so the performance of one is not a reflection on the perforamnce of the other. Danbooru is still hosted in Chicago, we're in The Netherlands, I believe.

It's slow for me, too. I'm losing half of the packets nearly every time I ping the site.

Good to know it isn't just a problem on my end. Sooo is anyone going to fix it?

It isn't on our end either; it's something in-between. Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about it either.

Appears to me that your servers cannot handle the traffic around a certain time. That would be a problem on your end.

I'm not experiencing the issue at all around the time you specified, which means that it's specific to a certain set of users. That would be a problem somewhere along the route between the site and those users.

The site is running impossibly slow for me. Pages rarely ever finish loading, I'm lucky if I get one thumbnail, and clicking the forum link had it loading for hours with no pogress. Direct links to images however do still seem to work fine, however, I'm not seeing this slowdown appear at a certain time, it seems constant.

However, while watching a page not load, I got on mobile, which I am now, and it loads fine here! So it looks like the issue is somehow on my end, but I can't identify what or how. Any suggestions?
