If the quality is craptastic then nothing else matters. Being in a Japanese style/theme helps make the art on topic for others.

Also, if this is a comic, then it will be deleted since that is not allowed either, unless they are in comic strip or 4koma format.

Though this kind of story concept could work well in 4komas. I think.

1) Someone picks up a tampon and everyone looks at her. And the twist is that everyone knows it's a prank, but she's genuinely embarrassed and thinks it's hers. Coincidental period is coincidental.
2) Someone rips a piece of cloth behind her, while she is stretching. Prior to that she's been complimented on her round butt. So she assumes her pants are torn.
3) The game is interrupted to inform her that her parents are dead. (Yeah, I know, bad taste, but it gives her a good reason to be violent, in case you need it.)
Fine, fine, replace that by an ordinary proposal. You know, in a stadium, with a shitload of people and her face on the big screen. AWKWARD. And she doesn't even know the guy.
4) Some Yakuza (debt collectors) show up and start demanding money from the catcher (maybe some knife action), while she is the batter. Everyone thinks it's just another prank, everyone except her. She beats up the gangsters with the bat. Priceless faces, when the team finds out the yakuza were real.
5) Throw an egg, instead of the ball, while she is the pitcher.
6) Her bottle of water is replaced by one with everyone's sweat in it.
7) She is distracted and puts on her helm, without noticing the gum on the inside. The gum in hair is noticed only after the game. They have won thanks to her, but the mood is ruined by a crying girl. The next day everyone shows up with a shaved head. Apology accepted.
