What did I tell you about treating other users with respect? Here, let me give you a couple new points:

1. It doesn't matter if someone is disrespecting you too, two wrongs don't make a right. Feeding the fire doesn't help either.
2. Comment scores mean a lot less than you imagine. You can ignore them completely and still enjoy the site.
