It Needs be Said: "fate_(series)" ≠ "fate/grand_order"Posted on: 06/09/16 04:05PM
Not every pic with Fate characters needs the "fate/grand_order" tag, guys. They need the "fate_(series)" tag, but the "fate/grand_order" tag should only be used appropriately. Such a case being when:
1. The character originates/has only been features in Fate/Grand Order (ie: Matthew, Dr. Roman, Olga-Marie, any of the Servants that debuted in the game).
2. The character is drawn is a form they have only resembled in Fate/Grand Order (ie: Caster Cu Chulainn, Santa Alter, Halloween Elizabeth; Shirou, Rin and Sakura as they appear in their Craft Essences; etc).
3. The character is drawn in a scenario that only happens in Fate/Grand Order (Saber fighting Shiki Ryougi).
4. The character has existed before Fate/Grand Order, but they made their first canonical appearance in Fate/Grand Order. (Mysterious Heroine X).
6. It is simply a Servant card or Craft Essence that's been posted.
Just because Saber is wearing a crown, doesn't mean its "fate/grand_order" worthy. She's been drawn with a crown on her head numerous times before FGO came out. Please, tag correctly. And no. It doesn't matter if the artist mentions something about Fate/Grand Order with the art. Just like the mods always say "we tag what we can see."
And before anyone says it: Yeah, I know most people never come to the forum in the first place, and I should just correct incorrect tags if they bother me that much. Still, I feel this distinction needed to be made.
