The image was the digipak for the Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Prisma Phantasm
Limited Edition Blu-ray, which was released November 2019. The first post here was posted March 2021, shortly after being posted to yande.re. They're still the same image, whoever uploaded it to yande.re likely got it from the official site since they're the same size, unless someone else can see a quality difference.

No, because the one sourced from yande.re is still the same image.

The only time source really matters is something updated on Twitter versus Pixiv (for example), since images uploaded to Twitter are occasionally compressed. That's why I included "unless someone else can see a quality difference"--best I can tell there's no difference in quality between them since they (likely) came from the same original source.

I double checked Danbooru since the first post here was imported from there, and it looks like the source was updated to the official one anyway, the same day/couple hours after you uploaded it here: danbooru.donmai.us/post_versions?search%5Bpost_id%5D=4389190

The only reason I can see the system didn't catch it as a dupe when you were uploading is because somehow the file extension on yours is jpeg, on the official site and yande.re it's jpg; same file type, but some systems just save jpgs that way (and create a headache when other programs or systems don't recognize jpeg).

This was deleted because “it did not match source file” even though it was uploaded before the other one. The same thing applies here.

While the reason for its deletion was technically valid given that its a western character, why this one was only targeted? More than 1k raven pics have been stored here, including the ones made by the same artist from whom I have posted here. Since other raven pics and other western pics made by echosaber have been allowed to stay here, I belive this one should be restored. I know you guys like to spam "others existence doesn't validate yours" but this is just disingenuous at this point.

post #8625512 The one we kept is the artist's original file that they uploaded while yours has a different MD5 for some reason. We prefer the artist's original files. When they were uploaded is irrelevant.

@Ilben That one was flagged by another user and I agreed with the flagging reason. At this time I am less than 10% of the way through our massive flagged post queue.

Exceptions to the artist rule are not given to artists, only to individual pieces of artwork. Just because some of an artist's work is allowed does not mean that it all will be.

Neither of those posts are based on a Japanese copyright. They will not be restored.
