What are your thoughts on the phenomenon of "objectifying women"? The phrase is only getting more and more popular as we speak....

I'm too tired to write a longer post going into more eloquent detail, so I'll just say what I need to say really quick:

I think "objectifying women" has been watered down to a very bullshit argument, and for the most part, it's mostly just bullshit. Sure I think there's maybe some valid points when it comes to dealing with women in real life, and sometimes how we perceive women who aren't openly sexualizing themselves, but in modern practice it's mostly just dumb bullshit. Weird people simply just throw it out there because of their own bullshit agendas and little else.

Don't be a creep, don't be a rapist (lol), don't be a (blatant) sexist, and you're good to go. You're fine and you should have nothing to worry about. Don't listen to all these stupid fucking weirdos or these dumb feminist cunts in that gauging a woman's attractiveness is evil, bigoted, and shameful. Gauging how sexy a woman looks is a normal, natural, and healthy thing for men to do.

I mean… it's a problem but yeah it's imo kinda been talked about more on less serious stuff ? Like… how a character may look in a videogame but like it's not just girls… well ok it's more noticeable when there's stuff like bikini armor but that's just weird looking I don't really think it's that much of a problem (the bikini armor I mean)

Yeah it's sometime overused, as everything else these days, sadly. Doesn't mean it was a bullshit concept to begin with.

There are genuine losers out there, if you actually watch some of Critikal's vids about creeps and yeah. It's a ruined and corrupt term like bigot or nazi, it became a meme and a weapon for communists towards someone who disagrees with them.

Yeah fair enough, but I really do think it's really been watered down to the point where I'm iffy on the majority of its application to begin with. I do not think checking a woman out needs to be pointed out as "sexual objectification". Even if it is on a technical gotcha, it's not a real problem if you're not a bad person.


What inspired me to make this topic was the upcoming Stellar Blade video game and researching no fap testimonals.

The first being a bunch of sick rats harshly complaining about Stellar Blade's beautiful and sexy female protagonist, and they can't seem to provide a deeper reason other than "durrrr it's objectifying women". Literally no real explanation of why it's actually a bad thing, therefore giving me no choice but to see it as nothing but total bullshit from broken idiots.

The second were three no fap testimonals that made me roll my eyes. Some self-admitted loser virgins fapped their brains out to porn, now has seen the light, and has a preachy speech stating "I stopped objectifying women, and here's why YOU should too". Okay sure, maybe they did have actual issues with seeing women as nothing as sex objects, which is fine that they apparently "fixed" those issues, but don't ever try to put pressure onto other dudes (pretty much most straight dudes on the planet) onto "stop objectifying women". I just hate that shit so much, lol.

I would rather live in a world where people are told not to objectify women, even to a ridiculous degree, than one where they are told that they should. With that said, I feel like it’s almost impossible to get laid if you’re entirely too respectful to a girl. It makes things like body language, flirting, etc. too difficult. And even if I agree with some moral standards more than others, that doesn’t mean I want a bunch of fascists shoving them down our throats.

As for stuff like porn and video games, I think that plays equally an important role in society as actual sex, because it is a good teaching tool, inspires fantasies, etc. The religious puritains have an eerie resemblence to Orwell’s worst nightmare imaginable, where the world is devoid of all pleasure, sex is only for the sake of reproducing more workers, etc.

A panty shot was shown in the Sony state of play, giving people lots of hope it's going to launch uncensored.

They could've easily omitted it, but they chose to leave it uncensored.

And I still cannot believe people managed to complain about that. Sony games almost never have fanservice like that, and yet it was enough to get the whiny cunts riled up about it.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhh I'd be a little careful with that. And it really depends on what you mean "not objectifying women" though. Because going by a feminist cunt's definition of "not objectifying women" and applying that as a global law could still be a total hellhole to live in, even if it's the more moral option compared to the inverse. Imagine simply checking out a woman, and some unsightly freak blows the rape whistle on you, and you're arrested for it. Or posting about how hot a woman is online, and it being treated like a serious rape threat that would get you banned or in legal trouble.


I wouldn't say "entirely too respectful to a girl", it's more like being brainwashed and paralyzed with fear of wrongthink (or just being a wretched asshole). I really don't think the people who are extremely concerned with objectifying women to an unhealthy degree, are getting laid in the first place. It would be like expecting a militant vegan to finish a whole steak in front of others.
