And Sadsap, yes, I would say, as I have before, that sometimes the ridiculousness of social movements can be even less dynamic than the reactionary movements that they despise. The focus on language in particular as a central issue is a bit ridiculous, and takes attention away from real issues. A lot of people have criticized the academic circles for doing that. They may very well even be right, but I don’t see why it has priority over stuff that affects everyone in their daily lives.

Because feminism is just mask and their actions and complains have nothing to do with gender equality. Well then I would say you have a poor understanding of what the women’s rights movement is and that’s an egregious strawman you are guilty of arguing against. “Gender equality” is not a desirable goal. What would that even mean? How are genders equal at all?

Other than a period of history long before human civilization, men have not been tools for sexual exploitation, they have not been bred with the goal of reproduction in mind, they have not been considered subhuman. Women have, and that necessitates a movement that focuses exclusively on them.

I never saw a gender equality supporter or a men’s rights activist jump to the defense of a wife who has been beaten and has no one to speak out to. That’s probably because we guys actually kind of have it pretty good. So good, that we don’t always realize it.
