We already have a score view for image posts, should a view count like the one from Pixiv be included as well? I imagine there's a reason it hasn't been included after so many years.

I don't think the users really need that metric.

It could be useful to prove my theory that loli posts are the most viewed ones on this site. I base that theory on like count.

Porn is a simple but eternal truth. Once you sort by view count, you will be overwhelmed by mature content without doubt.
The real what i want is Popularity, which be able to show new waifu, and ACG topics.

Thanks. Why not just use sort:score? it will show you the most popular stuff, based on vote count.

That'd be a fine feature to have.

But gelbooru has a lot more stuff to fix before that can be implemented.

Plus they'd only be able to start to count from the time they implement the feature (unless they have pagecounts that aren't visible), which wouldn't show view counts of any post beforehand.

Also reminder the sort:score is highly inaccurate because it's filled with bots. The top posts are random SFW clips from a forgotten anime (Kill Me Baby). And a terrible CG robot dinosaur.

Sort by score means adding up all historical scores, no highest, but only higher. The first content that appears will be very hard to be surpassed.And the Popular will show how a character‘s popularity changes over time.

Fun fact, you can do some trickery there too if you dont want to see the old stuff.
