Dunno if this is against the rules or not. Didn't see anything that said it is in the stickied FAQ. Anyway:
I usually compress my files if they're massive. I've been compressing Rinhee's videos, since they have huge file sizes. They're all 1440p, and in MKV format with subs.

File Sizes are anywhere between 10 to 20% of the original file size. So if the original was 800 megs, using AV1 gets them from 80 to 150 megs. It doesn't take me anything to upload so I figured someone might appreciate this. Just kinda posting it around different places.
As of this posting I've uploaded everything from 2020 to April of 2024 (Musashi vid). And it's come in at 6.3 gigs. Down from OVER 30 FUCKING GIGS. So 15% the original file size. I'll keep uploading and adding to the folder, but odds are it's all gonna come in at under 8 gigs for his entire collection at 1440p. With some 60FPS videos in there.
For comparison, these are the originals I was working with:

Well, torrenting doesn't modify the files. So that should not happen.

Not at all. If you wanna make a torrent or whatever feel free.
Little update: everything from 2020 to 2024 is in there. It's up to date. Just gotta do 2018 and 2019. Like I said, though, I prob won't do all of 2018 since there's a few 30 second soundless loops in there. And the quality is real low.

Everything from 2018 onwards is now in there. It's a complete collection as of April 2024 (as far as I know, at least). Original file size for everything was around 41 gigs. With the AV1 codec it comes out to 7.21 gigs. So around 18% of the original file size.
Feel free to spread around or torrent or whatever. I don't care about the credit I just figured there was at least *one other person* who liked his art enough to save, but was displeased with the fuckhuge file sizes. AV1 requires an extremely recent PC to encode at decent speeds, so I figured I'd spread the love.
