When is it too old...

...to be watching anime/reading manga/playing games and consuming hentai of said anime/manga/Japanese games. This is kinda a part 3 of my last 2 post and will probably be my last. I hit a milestone age wise that I'm not too proud of but I still consume the media that I have been consuming since I was a teen. Not that I should care since I keep to myself, but it'd feel odd being middle age or older still on the boorus.

I am in the first half of my 30s.
For me my time for anime has passed.
I sometimes read mangas.
I totally still play games.
I am not giving up hentai any time soon.

You're just jaded, try something else until then, like retro games.

It's a complicated question because I believe there will always be some kind of stigma, depending on who's judging you for it. Thankfully, I think nowadays society is much more lenient with this kind of thing.

However, I also firmly believe the true answer to the question depends on the person themselves. Older people can "get away" with having these hobbies as long as they carry themselves with maturity, take care of their responsibilities, bathe daily, and are good people that don't give off signs of immaturity or creepiness.

People are going to be a lot less likely to make fun of a mature grown man who enjoys anime and video games. But people are going to make fun of a 30+ year old manchild who reeks of cringe, personal hygiene issues, and causes problems for others.

Avoid being an immature, socially maladjusted, cringelord, don't make your hobbies into a personal problem, and you should be good to go.

Personally I don't see myself watching hentai past the age of 39. And I could only see myself playing video games if I'm playing them with my future children if I'm that age.

Maybe? Who knows.

I personally just can't see myself jerking off to anime at 45. Though only time will tell. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There are anime/manga/video games for adults, you know. So I think the question is whether you still watch Naruto or Fruits Basket when you’re older than the target demographic.

I'm 34, living on my own, affordable apartment, currently doing decent financially.

I like what I like, I got nothing to prove to people. lmao

You are never too old for what you like, did you stop eating chocolate because you are no longer 15 years old?
