I'm confused by the 'iraq' tags, since another pic ( gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=1049306 ) clearly shows the Arabian peninsula, not Iraq. Unless there's been a geopolitical alteration in this series I'm not aware of.
I actually thought this character was supposed to be Egyptian (marking could be a modification of old roundel).
