@ Devonian: She has less screentime, but lately Sakura's done a lot of backsliding as a character. Her character arc can be summed up thusly: ^ The point is her peak. That was the Sasori fight. Since then, it's back to being the weak, moody crybaby. Hinata, on the other hand: / She's still goin' up. By now she can fight alongside Neji as an apparent equal.

Hinata was fighting a bunch of clones that are now pretty much the stormtroops of the Naruto universe, so no, I doubt she is Neji's equal.
