the site says that the doppelganger is attracted to sadness of men that have been rejected by women they loved , from here the doppleganger turns into the appearance of the woman which the man has unrequited love for, and not only appearance but all characteristic of that person including personality,talents, and even her memories.

However this "copy" of that woman changes her disposition according to his mind of his ideal woman and she may do things her original may never do for his pleasure. the dopple herself takes also takes pleasure in becoming his ideal woman.

but this only my interpretation on what I have read in the translator XD

It's a ghost type monster though, and on MGU they also mentioned it having the potential to possess females that are already in a relationship and take them over, stealing thier man in the process.

I guess if you're into netorare this is cool, but I think it's a little disturbing (like a roper, but this time you wouldn't even know you had lost your woman, as there's no physical change).
