Still, restraining chains are useful. They serve to remind a slave that she is bound by the will of her master, and that her master has control over how she can use her body. Even more minor restraints should be good enough (a foot of chain between the ankles, a short chain between the wrists), but more powerful bondage (hands behind back) are preferable for slaves that are meant to be primarily used for sex.
