Looking at Naruto's expression Kushina's giving him nuggie, thinking he would rather hang out with his "buddy" Sasuke rather than hanging out with Hinata...

On another note, Even in the Shippuden episode where it shows Hinata's mom, It's ambiguous to say that her mother is Mikoto's twin sister (If the similar hairstlyes are of any evidence).
