I agree with you to an extent Anon3. She had a great thing going Daikichi, but instead she basically blows him off to marry some guy the her son Kouki doesn't even like. Kouki even says that he considers Daikichi to be more of a father than the guy his mom married!!!

Indeed Anon4. I re-read the part when Daikichi hug her, and I cannot understand why she cannot marry him. I mean she likes him, she has known him for ten years and her son technically considered him his father.

And later, she announced that she is going to marry a guy that she barely knows and her son doesn´t even like him.

The only conclusion I could come with, after we saw her again, dressed like a "housewife", when Kouki arrives home all depressed is: She married the other guy because he had a bigger wallet than Daikichi.

What a treacherous slut. Daikichi didn't deserve that. I raged even more than the time when I checked "Sinful Mother" and Usagi Drop is a normal manga!!!!!!!!
