for a one traller character who supposed to be dead, turned into a leach like monster who never hard the word "play dead", she sure is a fan fav.

It probably helps that unlike most expendable characters in the Resident Evil games she doesn't have a generic design. She sure as hell looks more like an important character then anything else.
