Well, from what I have read, authors make Ino a sort of slut and Kiba a literal horn dog, both wants sex so they got paired together. In all honesty, the idea of them pairing together other than being fuck buddies is just lazy. Hope that cleared things up.

The Kiba/Ino thing came up because each of the girls except for Ino is holding a picture of the guy they like.

Typically in fandom Ino gets paired up with a random assortment of whoever's left - frequently Shikimaru or Sai for some reason.

Always liked Ino/Chouji personally.
