Batou is one of the greatest and most underrated characters of all time right up there with Kazuma Kuwabara and Ai Enma.

True dat. Batou was always the best thing about GITS. Yeah Motoko is hot we get it geez. But Batou was so cool it was frightening.

I know I'm a few years late, but Batou was gold from Day 1.

"But Major. What if the robot geishas demand a pay raise?"

I still like the Tachikomas better, but among human and humanoid characters, Batou is without question my favorite.
