Yes, their son would have Byakugan. The Byakugan is allways present at birth unlike the Sharingan, and everyone of the Hyuuga bloodline has the byakugan so any child Hinata has will develop it.

As for Sage mode, it would probably display in facial markings alone. Byakugan does't have an iris or pupil for the sage mode to change. Not that It matters, their child would be mixing the bloodlines of the Hyuuga and Uzumaki, even without sage mode the kid would be badass.

Since Naruto is an Uzumaki, and Uzumaki's are the cousins of the Senju, then Naruto is a descendant of the Sage of Six Paths. It's also said that the Byakugan is a mutation of the Sharingan. This could mean that they are somewhat, descendants of the Uchiha. So, could Naruto and Hinata's child possibly gain the Rinnegan, or a variation of it?
BTW, *SPOILERS* what if they named their child after Neji because of his death? Or they had multiple children and one was named Neji? So many possibilities. I wonder how this will play out.

@Anon4 wow dude you got a point there. Since Naruto is descendent of the Senju and Hinata is the descendent of the Uchihas, chances are the kid (or kids) would be a Sage, since they naturally possess both the Uchiha and the Senju blooodline, unlike Tobi or Madara who stole Hashirama's DNA. Well God Bless NaruHina and their kid, who might end up like Son Gohan of Dragonball Z, taking over his father and becoming the next new hero (or heroine) in the Naruto saga.

@Anon 9 actually in the beginning of the chuunin exams during the Neji Vs Hinata battle, the Third Hokage Sarutobi Hiruzen himself said the Hyuugas revolved from the Uchiha clan. So yes the Hyuugas are a part of the Uchiha bloodline.
