They don't. Back in Soviet Union, everyone learned at school how to assemble and disassemble a Kalashnikov. And a lot more stuff having to do with national defence...

Shouldn't knowing the difference between a Matilda and a Churchill be considered a part of national defence, if your not careful you might mistake a T34 for a Matilda, they have about the similar side profile from a distance.
