It takes A LOT more than that to fuck up your system- and your organs recover after time.

If one were to stop drinking for two years, their liver would completely cycle anew and it'd be comparable to someone who has never drank booze at all.

Well, it's sure possible to cause permanent (liver) damage by drinking, though this is usually a problem with older drunkards. I'm a young sailor in my early 20's, and I've yet to see anyone of my age group to succumb to alcohol related physical problems -_-
