I always imagined Samus as the type who would go to the local bar for a few drinks to unwind, find some guy she wanted to fuck, fuck him hard, then head on home, go to sleep while content, then get up the next day to shoot more guys in the face so she can go to the bar.

Couldn't have said it better.

And on a side note: I don't get why so many people hate other M for the way Samus (as a person) was depicted. (most of the other critique is quite valid, though... Especially about the gameplay.) But maybe that's because I AM a woman in a predominantly male line of work, and thus can relate to her better than 99% of gamers.
