I don't know if this has ever been addressed in Character Material, Official Artbooks, or Q&A sessions with the developers of Innocent Grey, but there are many influences or references to Type-Moon works in their visual novels. The kanjis in Tsukishima Orihime (from Kara no Shoujo) contain the title Tsukihime, plus she looks a lot like Tohno Akiha. In Cartagra, the last name Nanatsuki reminds me of the Nanayas or Nanatsu-Yoru. Finally, we have Nanatsuki Shion, who looks like Arcueid and is probably named after Melty Blood's heroine.
