Is this true?

Not in the slightest. IE is DESGNED to be slow, clunky, and weak. It's made like that to be able to use the 20 year-old coding that most business and school websites use, rather than coding that actually works. This allows them to boast about a "large userbase" when anyone who knows even a smidgen about how computers work uses lierally anything else. I guess IE is "new" in the Japanese market (?), but thats not really for the best, as IE is the worst the world has to offer.

Nobody asked if IE was slow, clunky, and weak. (Which it obviously is.) Anon1 was asking if it was power efficient like the comic says it is.

I know it's the "uncool" opinion, but I actually use IE11, Chrome, and Firefox about equally (IE as my "worksafe" browser), and there really isn't too much of a difference.

It's not anything amazing like they seem to be trying to advertise, but IE11 handles just as well as the others. I've had all three crash or freeze on me more than a couple times (99% of the time due to Flash plugin, dammit), but I'm not sure if that even counts as browser unreliability.
