Its a name like Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, Or Dumbledore for short. Or older generations needed ways to differentiate between brian the village retard and Brian the son of the wulfric family related to the percivals who's father was Dumbledore and who's speciality was in 'x' , you see back then they didn't have the intewebs and national registries.
