Frankly, she probably got a load more from Luso than Luso got from her, but hey, he's the good guy protag, this is all the thanks he needs.
Nope, no reason whatsoever for him to stick around any longer and risk having her feel filled by a burden of an ongoing debt of any kind.
No, he's the wandering hero, time to hit that dusty old trail seeking new adventures, why he'll likely never come into her life ever again.
And now that he's gained such invaluable experience, and the heroic reputation that comes with slaying a dragon, a famed man he is.
Why, maidens all over the realm will begin to swoon at his coming, and those more experienced will begin to watch for him to come.
Indeed, he has such greater & grander adventures before him, that he need never again look back to where & who he comes from.
