They never had a canon love interest in P4 but after going through each of the girls in Golden I think she certainly would have been amongst the final three candidates.

Considering that in the new Arena game that the Investigative Team finally disbanded for real and that Persona 5 with new characters is going to come out at some point I really wish a canon love interest was just selected in P4.

hm not really. If you follow the original game, dev has gave so many hints that Yukiko is a default gf for Yu.

I think so too. On Christmas Eve Yukiko says that Yu is the first boy she fell in love with ever and if it was up to her it'd stay that way(I think).

Not to mention that she knows they will be separated but is more than willing to wait for him even though it hurts her.... And on Valentine's Day she thinks that Yu should be the one to change his last name when they get married.... AND she takes it the hardest if out of all the girls if Yu takes the friendship route.

So yeah.

Lol people spouting bullshit. There is no canon relationship, only hints from Yukiko at the beginning and more flirting from Rise. It's left to the player to chose the girl.

In any case, I hated the Golden adaptation. They stuffed too much Marie and left the main cast in the dark.
