Just FYI to you circumcision deniers: the male version is low-risk and provides significant health benefits as confirmed by top researchers. The female version is worthless except to ruin sexual pleasure for a woman. (as in, 10x the pleasure reduction compared to male circumcision - cut guys still enjoy sex just fine)

The same health benefits that males get can be attributed to females. There is no real reason to circumsize a male, especially since it's debated whether or not it is even necessary. It absolutely reduces sensation and causes the head to be less sensitive as well. Removing the labia and clitoral hood is the equivalent of removing the foreskin. It's the bits around it, which are still VERY sensitive.

Can we all just agree that genital mutilation, or "circumcision" as some people call it, is fucked up, has a ton of drawbacks, and any health benefits that come don't matter, no matter who's having it done to them as an infant? I'd have no problem if it were a choice but to infants? No.

Regardless of your views on it, I think we can all agree that the female version is way worse. Not saying the male version is good or particularly beneficial, but it's like comparing an ear piercing to getting your ear sawed off with a rusty hacksaw. With FGM, sex actually becomes PAINFUL. In addition, it happens to be prevalent in poorer countries with terrible hygiene, leading to severe complications and possibly death. I don't wanna name names, but let's just say a certain 'peaceful' religion frequently abducts females and forcibly lops their clit off and even sows up their vagina, because of their hatred for women. There are very obvious reasons while male circumcision is treated differently.
That said I certainly don't see the sense in my Christian parents performing a Jew ritual on my behalf. I feel fine with my dick but there's no way in hell I'm getting any of my kids snipped.
