What could have been...

Now I'm not saying that the show would have been actually any good if Naruto had been a girl, but at least then we would have had an actual interesting and cute girl in the show. At least then I could have watched it because it had a girl in it that I could enjoy. I crappy show can still be watched if there is at least one interesting girl in it -- likewise, unless the show is REALLY good... if the show doesn't have any interesting girls in it, the show becomes almost unwatchable!

I second that, even though I'm a girl myself
All the girls in the show started off boring, and I thought they'd get super cool after so we could get some epic scenes, but nope - they're all still boring. Sigh. They even made Anko fat. Why.
Manga writers don't realise that when you don't have cute, badass girls you don't get cute, badass love stories either! So we end up with super cool guys serenading the equivelent of a washboard.
